My current Monster high collection

Well I started with cabbage patch but as I mentioned the offering was stale.  I lost my passion for them.  It took me awhile to get over it and move on.  I felt drawn to monster high.  I purchased a couple of toys r us to get free shipping on something I bought my nephew.  My thought was that I could have them in the house for the girls who visit, but when they came I couldn't part with them.  From their a year later and over 100 dolls.  Of course I had my dad build me storage so my collection could grow with out being too cluttered.  

These are my newest and favorite dolls.  They are from the frights camera action line, ghouls spirit, and the power ghouls to name a few.  

My china hutch contains my play sets I only have the coffin bean,  13 wishes DJ play set and the die-ner set.

My main shelf contains a majority of my collection.  It's hard to name them all.  

I love the variety of dolls each character has multiple looks.  I don't see myself slowing down anytime soon.  Today I found coffin bean Frankie and abbey, but only purchased Frankie.  

I haven't opened her yet.  Which is unusual for me.  I'm not thrilled with her glitter makeup and debating how to handle it.  I may fix it on my own.  I'm still searching for sloe mo.  

Trying to get back to blogging about my collections.

So I'm toying with the idea of coming back to this blog.  I love my crafting one, but my doll collecting has been kind of on the for front on my focus.  I am currently in graduate school and I don't get a lot of craft time, but I do get time in the store and hunting for dolls.  At the moment my major focus is monster high and american girl.  No new cabbies have come into my house for a long time.  I'm not sure why, but I have been unimpressed with what has been offered on store shelves.  So I have changed my focus to what appeals to me and that is like I said Monster High and American girl.  I hope to start blogging about what I have purchased, how I display my collection and some crafts related to my dolls. We will see if and where this goes over time and if I can handle 2 blogs and working on school.  At least until May when school calms down and my summer of freedom begins.  In the meantime happy hunting.  Hopefully I'll be back with something new soon...Maybe Slo Moe! 

No cabbies in awhile

Well as many things I tend to start this blog got pushed by the way side. I haven't really been collecting as of late. I get an occasional kid, but find that documenting my art is more important at the moment. Someday maybe I will come back here and work on this blog but for the moment it is not on the top of my list.

Here are all my twins I'm sure if I look I have forgotten some and have take their pictures. I really need to take out the photography sheet and take individuall shots of them, but that means cleaning my room. I might do it before I pack them up for the move.

Babble

My NO cabbies for two month is going okay. Other then the toture of seeing such great kids up for adoption and needing some outfits to finish up some kids (although I do have a couple of kitty sweatsuits that just need some new elastic). I have about 4 or 5 kids that are naked and a couple that have no diapers because I can't find any in my area. In the middle of it all life has been crazy. My Great Grandfather is in the hospital, my dad is suffering from chest pain, my mom has some sort of head cold,and two close friends just got out of the hospital. A new kid would be good right now just to hug. I guess I'll have to go hug a bunch of kids that are already in my room. This suck!!! Is it May 1st yet!??
